June 30th Meeting and Renter News
Hi Everyone,
Are you interested in working on improving New Westminster for Renters? Got a problem in your building you'd like to talk through? Join us for our Public Meeting (in an air conditioned space!) this Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, from 6:30pm to 7:45pm. The meeting is being held in the basement auditorium at the New Westminster Public Library (716 6th Avenue, New Westminster).
With the municipal election drawing closer we need help doing research on candidates stances on renters issues. We will not be able to finish this project alone. If you want to show candidates in this election that they need to take renters seriously, come out to our meeting or email us to get started.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:
- Community Agreement
- State of the Union Updates:
- Building Organizing Updates
- Election Organizing Updates
- Working Groups:
- Voter Report Card Research and Voter Mobilization working group meetings
- Consultation Table for Building Issues
