Hi Everyone,

In this newsletter, we have some information about this month's public meeting, door knocking training, and an upcoming event in New Westminster!

Public Meeting

Our February Public Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, from 6:30pm to 7:45pm. The meeting is being held in the basement auditorium at the New Westminster Public Library (716 6th Avenue, New Westminster).

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

  1. State of the Union Updates
  2. Door Knocking Demonstration and Training

If you would like to learn more about how to talk to neighbours, or have been interested in coming door knocking with us but feel nervous about taking the first step, this is a great meeting to come to!

Skills you'll learn and practice include

  • How to introduce yourself
  • Active listening
  • Educating your neighbours
  • Building buy-in and support
  • Handling a variety of different reactions and personalities you can meet at the door

Door knocking is a foundational skill for any community powered political campaign. Practice with us!

Event: Time for Change at Century House

Seniors on the Brink: Housing and Health Care for an Aging Population

Century House is hosting an event led by BC Seniors Advocate Dan Levitt and CEO of the Senior Services Society of BC Alison Silgardo. Learn about Aging in Place, long-term care, and the availability of affordable housing and in-home care.

Attend in-person at 620 8th Street, New Westminster or attend via Zoom. Attendance is free, but registration is recommended.

Wednesday, March 4th, 2026 at 3:15pm - 5:00pm
